Come Join the Fun! Volunteer Now!
Help Your Community And Yourself!
Volunteers are quick to point out that they gain by giving. Through RSVP projects the benefits of volunteer efforts are two-fold: local communities are able to provide valuable services which they could not afford without RSVP members  - while at the same time older volunteers can share the talents and skills they have developed over a lifetime in their new careers as RSVP volunteers.

Come join the over 850 Marshall County retirees who are currently volunteering over 125,000 hours of service each year to meet basic human needs in Marshall County.

Why Should I Volunteer?
  • Learn something new.

  • Meet new and interesting people.

  • Share the knowledge learned over your lifetime or try something for which you have no prior experience!

  • Volunteering helps new retirees transition from the 9 to 5 work week.

  • RSVP volunteers are honored through community events.

  • It keeps you young!

I want to Volunteer!
  • Volunteer as many or as few hours as you like
  • Choose only the activities that interest you
  • Orientation and training provided, as necessary
  • Accident and liability insurance while on assignment

You bring your heart and your sense of humor to volunteer service, along with your enthusiastic spirit, which in itself is a priceless gift.  What you get back is immeasurable!
