Education Volunteers
Some volunteers choose to explore education opportunities by serving as a reading buddy or mentor for an at risk child or youth, working in adult education or teaching English as a second language, helping in public libraries, with heritage skills or the arts council.

  • Assist with GED or ESL classes.
  • Help in public and school libraries.
  • Be a museum guide.
  • Teach in the senior computer lab.
  • Usher, take tickets, build sets, or make costumes for the Whole Backstage.
  • Be a job tutor.

Learn how to be a reading buddy!
