Computer Lab
You're never too old to learn!
Do you want to learn how to e-mail family and friends? Do you want basic skills in word processing or spreadsheet use for household budgeting? Why not venture out into the Cyberworld via the Internet!

Genealogy & Open Lab Schedule:

         Friday  1:00 - 4:00pm

Open Lab Schedule

         Monday 1:00 - 4:00pm

RSVP members who want to come in and use the DSL, fast internet access (10 - 20 times faster than telephone dial-up connections) can visit the Open Lab. You might want to:

  • Establish an Internet email address to email family and friends.

  • Write a letter and print it out on our black and white laser printer.

  • Create an invitation or greeting card and print it out on our color laser printer.

  • Surf the Internet without having to wait for pictures, etc. to download. This is great if you are shopping in on-line catalogs.

Users will be issued a computer lab card on their first visit. The use of the lab will be free. If you want to print, get a floppy disk or CD-Rom, a fee schedule will be posted in the lab to cover the cost of the paper, ink, etc. This will be a cost recovery fee only for your convenience.

Genealogy Research

RSVP has subscribed to the Ancestry.com  library. With the fast DSL Internet access, you can view actual census records and databases with speed and ease to fill in gaps in your research. Family Tree Maker is, also, available for your use.
