RSVP members who want to come in and use the DSL, fast
internet access (10 - 20 times faster than telephone dial-up
connections) can visit the Open Lab. You might want to:
-
Establish an Internet email address to email family
and friends.
-
Write a letter and print it out on our black and
white laser printer.
-
Create an invitation or greeting card and print it
out on our color laser printer.
-
Surf the Internet without having to wait for
pictures, etc. to download. This is great if you are shopping in
on-line catalogs.
Users will be issued a computer lab card on their first
visit. The use of the lab will be free. If you want to print, get a
floppy disk or CD-Rom, a fee schedule will be posted in the lab to cover
the cost of the paper, ink, etc. This will be a cost recovery fee only
for your convenience.
Genealogy Research
RSVP has subscribed to the Ancestry.com library.
